Before submitting the change of compliance officer request for an LLP, the new compliance officer must first verify their identity on the SSM portal. Once the new compliance officer has successfully completed the identity verification process, you may proceed with the following steps to change the compliance officer of an LLP:

 

  1. Visit the website https://ssm4u.com.my/.
  2. Log in to your SSM4U account using your credentials.
  3. Locate the MYLLP section and click on “View Details.”
  4. Click on “Go to MYLLP” to access the MYLLP portal.
  5. Look for the “Post Registration” bar and select “Change of Particulars.”
  6. Search for your LLP entity and click on the “Action” button.
  7. In the “Partner” section, add the new compliance officer as one of the partners in the LLP. Provide the necessary details, such as name and identification information, and save the changes.
  8. Proceed to the “Compliance Officer” section and add the details of the new compliance officer. Enter their credentials, such as name, identification information, and contact details. Tick the option “Replace as Lodger” to designate the new compliance officer as the primary contact for lodging documents.
  9. Click on “Next” to proceed to the payment page. Pay the necessary charges associated with changing the compliance officer and lodger.
  10. Await approval from the Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM). You may receive notifications or updates regarding the status of your request through the MYLLP portal or email.
